SOLIDARITY TV: Mahlon Mitchell (IAFF) Name Drops IBEW, IUPAT, UAW, Others on MSNBC

MSNBC host Ed Schultz has been arguably the most vocal supporter of Wisconsin workers in the realm of semi-mainstream TV media. His coverage of both the nuance and big picture of Wisconsin’s legislative budget battle has been relentless. He has stood for collective bargaining and taken the fate of the cheesehead state to heart.

Below, a clip from his program last night on the eve of today’s six recall elections. One of his guests was Mahlon Mitchell (@MahlonMitchell), state president of the International Association of Fire Fighters. Mithcell names drops several Building Trades and other unions who have been central to the fight against Governor Scott Walker’s extreme agenda despite the right-wing policies not effecting them as directly as they do public employees union.
