IBEW’s Adept Use of Hot-Button Social Media Platform Pinterest Results in Handy Voter Guides
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is helping educate the public about candidates’ respective positions ahead of the election with their IBEW Voter Guides Pinterest board. The efficient and simple Pinterest platform is the perfect outlet to show, visually, the stark contrast between candidates when it comes to workers’ rights.
“Right-to-Work,” Davis-Bacon, workplace safety and Project Labor Agreements are all discussed among the “pins.”
Pinterest has become an excellent source for charts, infographics, and other visual information on political topics. The IBEW has announced that they will continue to add to their Pinterest and will include more information on congressional races crucial to workers in the near future.
Once you finish perusing the IBEW’s Voter Guides board you can visit the We Party Pinterest page which is chock full of worker-supportive goodies as well…
