This morning, Iron Workers General President Walter Wise released a video formally endorsing Barack Obama for the 2012 Presidential election.

This may not be appear to be shocking news considering Wise’s position as the leader of a large workers’ organization, something that lends itself to the Democratic party in the face of the GOP’s staunchly anti-worker platform. But, as our post from yesterday explains, the union vote, especially among the Building Trades unions, is not entirely filed under “guaranteed D.”

Thus, Wise is doing his part to convince his entire membership to do the right thing come November.
