“Bonuses for Controversial Postings that Heat Up a Topic of Forum Thread.”

Someone has uncovered a Toronto Craigslist ad seeking right-wing blog and facebook comment-creators. In the Internet sphere, this tactic is known as astroturfing, because of the planting of fake viewpoints.

Could be real. Could be fake. Either way it’s scary.

The best part? As the ad demands quality writing, suggesting that a prospective writer’s ability is more important than their resume, a careless typo is made:

“You writing must be strong, right-wing and use supplied talking points without bogging down in too much detail.”

You writing.
